In December last year I was searching for a particular piece that I had seen in your shop window several years ago. One of the assistants in your shop kindly searched the Lladro catalog and advised me that it had been retired from the Lladro collection a few years previously. What a disappointment it was to receive the aforementioned Lladro piece. It’s too tall, not wide enough and it reminds me of how fragile we both are. Only joking of course. As you said to us the piece is lovely and it truly is. We are not quite at the same age as the couple are but, hopefully we will reach their tender years. I do have one problem and that is: Where on earth are we going to put it, we (that is I) manufactured two glass cases for our collection of Lladro and they were squeezed in, now the old couple take a pride of place (until the next one catches our eye) within our small menagerie and, the space gets forever smaller. I had searched the web with no success but this kind lady found my piece for me, packed it to professional standards and shipped it safely to me.
